AdVantage is the hyper-local news source for the Riverbend area, servicing the Alton, Godfrey, Hartford, Bethalto, Granite City and Edwardsville areas and everywhere in between.

AdVantage, formerly Today's AdVantage, is a group of community publications with combined direct mailed circulation to more than 78,000 households. AdVantage is published from headquarters in Godfrey, Illinois, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. The circulation is in Madison County in Southwestern Illinois, just north of the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers.

Display and classified advertising are a large part of this free-distribution publication delivered mid-week by the United States Postal Service to thirteen communities.

Eric is responsible for operational, strategic and financial success of AdVantage. Since 1986, he has worked his way through every department at the former Today’s AdVantage, Inc and what is now known as AdVantage.

Fred Pollard, managing editor
Fred contributes a combination of city and government news, entertainment features, business profiles, and people spotlights for the paper. Before joining AdVantage, Fred spent nearly a decade at The Telegraph in Alton, working his way up from customer service to reporter to editor.

Jason White, copy editor
Jason White provides a variety of duties at AdVantage, serving as copy editor and also posting stories, press releases and breaking news on the newspaper website on a regular basis. He contributes feature stories as needed, and brings his nearly 15 years of experience as an editor at The Telegraph to the already talented editing team.

Bill Roseberry, sports coordinator
Bill comes from another local publication, the Edwardsville Intelligencer, where he spent almost 10 years, four of those as sports editor. Bill contributes a variety of sports stories, as well as his weekly editor's column. He also helps with editorial features.

Eric Stauffer
A gifted photographer with an extensive portfolio, Eric worked with Jacoby Arts Center in Alton before becoming proprietor of his own creation, Dark Horse Art Works. When not putting together local art exhibits, he shoots Eagle Eye photo spotlights for AdVantage.

Louise Jett
A media front-woman and department head at Lewis and Clark Community College, Louise also served as the executive editor of the college newspaper for years. Her working relationship with the editor of AdVantage stretches back over 10 years, and she assists with spotlight stories, special sections, and area profiles.
