HELP FINDING A JOB IS ON THE WAY
Are you wanting to update your resume but not sure where to turn? Or maybe you could use some great interview tips? Or maybe you really need a job? If you fall into any of these categories, you will want to be sure to attend the “First Comes The Job, Then Comes The Career” event, set for Tuesday, March 31, from 5-7 at Triad High School.
“We have been talking about providing a community service to the public that would assist those seeking employment so we teamed up with UniQue Personnel Consultants and here we are” said Dawn Mushill, Executive Director, Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob/Marine Chamber of Commerce. “Unique will be providing assistance with reviewing resumes, conducting mock interviews and also will have some current job openings on hand.”
In addition, there will be short seminars within the two hours. “Learn How A Staffing Agency Works” will be held from 5-5:30. “Social Media’s Effect On Your Job Search” will take place from 5:45 – 6:15. And “W2 Discussion” from 6:30 – 7.
Be sure to bring your current resume with you and let the team from Unique assist you. You can send questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or call them at 659-0400. This event is brought to you by the Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob/Marine Chamber of Commerce and Unique Personnel Consultant.
