The Lincoln Place Heritage Association will sponsor A Taste Of Lincoln Place fundraiser from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Granite City Township Hall, 2060 Delmar Ave.
The benefit will feature ethnic foods and ethnic pastries of Armenia, Macedonia, Hungary, Mexico and Italy; and swing band music of the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s performed by the Granite City Community Adult Swing Band. Admission is free and open to the public. Ethnic food and pastries will be for sale a la carte.

The nonprofit Lincoln Place Heritage Association aims to encourage, facilitate and implement preservation of the history and cultural heritage of the historic Lincoln Place neighborhood. Programs are open to the public and promote the history of the neighborhood and the rich ethnic heritage of the people whose stories, lives and cultures contributed to the melting pot of the historic neighborhood.
