St. Ambrose Church is holding its annual Applefest, September 19-21, 2014. This weekend festival will feature something for all ages with food, music, inflatables, games, basket raffle, a $2,000 Grand Raffle and much more!
Applefest will be held at St. Ambrose Church, 820 West Homer Adams Parkway, Godfrey, both on the lower parking lot and in the Community Center.
The hours are:
Friday, September 19: 5 p.m. until midnight
Saturday, September 20: 5 p.m. until midnight
Sunday, September 21 with a chicken dinner served in the Community Center: 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Friday and Saturday feature games and inflatable on the lower level parking lot from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.
St. Ambrose Got Talent will start at 6:30 p.m. and will feature students and adults performing/lip synching, or showing their own original talent.
Friday evening the food tent will be serving hamburgers, bratwursts, fries, pulled pork and nachos.
Saturday's menu will be the same with pulled pork being replaced by hog wings.
The beverage tent will be open both Friday and Saturday evening until midnight.
On Friday, Back in the Saddle will play from 8 p.m. until midnight. Incognito will play on Saturday from 8 p.m. until midnight.
In the Community Center, a spaghetti and meatball dinner will served on Saturday from 5 until 7 p.m. On Sunday, a chicken dinner will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Apple pie, apple cake and caramel apples will be for sale during both meals while supplies last.
Basket winners and Grand Raffle winners will also be drawn by 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
The public is invited to enjoy this weekend with family and friends.
