Get Fit Nutritional Education Offered
Through Senior Services Plus Wellness Center Staff
Beginning June 1, Senior Services Plus will be offering a Get Fit Nutritional Education Program through the Wellness Center. The program will allow participants learn the skills needed to live a healthier lifestyle. The program will include a 1 hour session each week for 4 weeks.
The program will include weekly educational topics on a variety of nutritional concepts. Enrollees will receive assistance with creating a weekly food journal with review by a personal trainer. Each will be offered meal building assistance, group support and class Q & A, and guest speakers on variety of nutrition related topics.
Two times frames will be offered. Sessions will be held the first and third Mondays from 6:00-7:00pm and the second and fourth Mondays from 10:00am-11:00am in the Multipurpose Room at Senior Services Plus. The cost for all four sessions is $60, and an option is available to attend two sessions for $30. All sessions must be used within the month of purchase.
