Learn to Color Outside the Lines
On Saturday, October 15, St. John's United Methodist Church is welcoming women to learn what it means to "Color Outside the Lines."
From 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., women will learn to explore their creativity and God-give potential by discovering their personality style.
Coloring Outside the Lines Women's Conference will feature keynote speaker Kathryn Robbins, owner of Personality Principles, LLC, an easy to use, easy to understand personality assessment system offering valuable keys to help make sense of human behavior. Robbins' personality brand classes have enlightened a broad range of groups, from corporate to faith-based organizations. The conference will center on her book, Color My Personality, which combines coaching, coloring and cathartic encouragement.
In Robbin's interactive workshop, participants will learn how to identify their built-in personality traits and explore what makes them tick through coaching questions and coloring pages.
"Learning to see personality traits in 'living color' can radically change our relationships," said Robbins. "Understanding basic personality traits frees us to become our true selves, helping us determine what we can and cannot change about ourselves and how to better relate to others."
The conference will also host guest artist Jessalyn Link from Rubysue Studios and Rev. Katie Gholson, St. John's Pastor of Discipleship, to lead breakout session on art and personality, mean to empower women to explore who they are and how they relate to others.
Registration for the event costs $35, which includes lunch and materials.
