CHAMPAIGN — Parkland College congratulates Terri L. Wendle of Godfrey, who was named to the school’s Dean’s List for fall semester 2014.
More than 930 students were named to the Dean’s List. To make the list, students must achieve a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 grade scale for the semester in which they are being honored or earn a 3.5 cumulative GPA for 12 or more hours in the academic year.
CANTON, Mo. — Paul Daniels, freshman legal studies major from Alton, competed on Culver-Stockton College’s Mock Trial Team against several large universities at the Undergraduate Mock Trial Invitational Tournament Jan. 16-17 in Columbia, Mo.
The tournament was held at University of Missouri, hosted by Columbia College.
Roughly 20 teams competed in the tournament. C-SC’s Plaintiff and Defense Teams competed against teams from the University of Missouri, Missouri Southern State and Truman State. The Defense Team also went head-to-head against a “Bye-Buster” team composed of students from Kansas University, University of Missouri and Truman State University.

Kirsten Patrick of Troy, majoring in management

To make the Dean’s List, a student must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
