MARYVILLE — K.1 Summerpalooza is scheduled at June 9-11 at First Baptist Maryville, 7110 State Route 162.
The camp is for children entering kindergarten, who have completed kindergarten, or are enrolled in or have completed first grade by fall 2014. It’s scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, June 9-10; and 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 11. The cost is $30 per child.
This year, children will learn that Jesus’ love is one-of-a-kind as they discover a world of Weird Animals.
Bring a sack lunch for Monday and Tuesday, June 9 and 10. Pizza will be provided for lunch on Wednesday, June 11, Family Day.
The church will also offer a free Vacation Bible School and FUEL for age 4 to grade five Sunday, July 20 to Friday, July 25; and sixth to eighth grades Sunday, July 20 to Thursday, July 24.
Hundreds of children and volunteers will participate in a week of worship, Bible study, crafts, recreation, missions, and of course, snacks.
This year, kids will become Agency D3 Special Agents as they examine eyewitness reports, physical proof and biblical accounts to uncover and defend the truth about who Jesus really is. There will be some hard questions, but with Agency D3, children are more than able to find their way to the truth.
At FUEL, students in grades six to eight get to have their very own, age-appropriate Vacation Bible School full of worship, games, Bible studies and more.
