HARTFORD — How did Spiderman climb to the top of the Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower? Find out during the tower’s Halloween Festival from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.
Before trick-or-treating festivities begin, children can meet Spiderman, who will be on the 150-foot-high top tower level. The event also will feature face-painting, apple-bobbing and Halloween treats. The tower is located at 435 Confluence Tower Dr. in Hartford. Children and adults alike are encouraged to dress up in their best Halloween costumes.
The event is free. Meet and greet with Spiderman is $1 for children and $4 for adults.
The tower is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Guided daily tours start at 10 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday and noon Sunday. The last tour is at 4 p.m. Admission to the tower is $4 for adults, $2 for children 12 and younger and children 2 and younger are free. Group rates are available for 12 or more people and reservations can be made by calling the Alton Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau at (618) 465-6676.
