ALTON – The Glenhaven Gardeners Wii bowling team captured the first-place trophy in the 2014 Wii Bowling Tournament sponsored by the Affordable Assisted Living Coalition.
This is the fifth annual Wii bowling competition held by the coalition. Glenhaven Gardens beat 83 other teams throughout the season to advance to the Final Four, where they defeated Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook, Timberlake Supportive Living and Heritage Woods of Charleston to take first prize. The tournament was held in Decatur May 13-14.
Members of the Glenhaven Gardeners are: Shirley “The HurriKANE” Kane, Shelia “The Comeback Kid” LeMasters, Edna “The Enforcer” Mobley, Linda “Triple X” Waggoner and Janice “The WRIGHT ONE” Wright.
Glenhaven Gardens of Alton Supportive Living offers adults age 65 and over customized personal care services to maintain their independence.
