ROXANA — Tickets for the musical “Smokey Joe’s Cafe,” featuring music of the 1950s with songs of Leiber and Stoller, will be presented July 25-27 at the Nazarene Community Center in Roxana.
Smokey Joe’s Cafe is Broadway’s longest-running musical revue that highlights the best songs by the legendary song-writing duo, Leiber and Stoller. Included production numbers are “Neighborhood,” “Fools Fall In Love,” “Yakety Yak,” “Charlie Brown,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “Hound Dog,” “Love Potion No. 9” and “Stand By Me.” Outstanding vocals and tremendous dance performance will bring flair to the local community stage.
