Temperatures will swing from a taste of spring to a return to winter in a 24-hour period Tuesday and Wednesday.
The National Weather Service’s forecast calls for plenty of sunshine and a high near 78 today. Tonight, rain and thunderstorms are possible and winds will shift to the north at 20-25 mph with gusts as high as 34 mph. The chance of precipitation is 90 percent.
On Wednesday morning, a snow-rain mixture is expected before 7 a.m. with accumulation of less than half an inch possible. Wednesday’s high will be near 39 with northwest winds of 17-25 mph and gusts as high as 37 mph.
