Since 1991, the YWCA of Alton has given special recognition to more than 220 local women through its Women of Distinction Award.
The YWCA of Alton will host the 24th annual Women of Distinction Luncheon on Tuesday, May 20, at 11:30 a.m. in the Commons, Lewis and Clark Community College, Godfrey.
“The talented women of the 2014 YWCA Women of Distinction demonstrated great humility when told they were honorees,” said Suzanne Lagomarcino, WOD Co-chair. “That quality enhances their worthiness.”
The YWCA invites the community to recognize these women by attending the luncheon. Reservations may be made online at http://www.altonywca.com or by contacting the Alton YWCA at (618) 465-7774.
