Most of us have a phone in our homes and we also carry a cellphone just in case we get that important call while we are away from home. We answer our phones after only a few rings. Who knows how important that call may be?
God calls us — but not on our phones. God calls us to read and follow the messages in the Bible. At times, He may call through a friend — or He may show us a need that we can meet. We get calls daily — some we receive, but many we ignore.
The next time we get a call from God, we should listen and then act on it. We may be pleasantly surprised at how good it will make us feel, but more importantly how much it will help someone in need.
When God calls, will we answer?
