In the Old Testament, in the book of Proverbs, chapter 30, verses 18 and 19 talk about the mysteries of God. Some things about God are hard to understand, like how He works or why He allows things to happen. But I do know there is a reason for everything He does.
God wants to work in the lives of humanity, but we have to be willing to allow Him to work. One way that He chose to do this was by sending His son Jesus into the world. We have to be willing to let Jesus work in our lives. We may be hesitant to do this, because it may mean making ourselves vulnerable ... and we don’t like that. We also know God doesn’t like everything He sees in us. But if and when we open ourselves up to Him, the blessings that await us are abundant.
