The rain didn’t keep people from visiting the National Great Rivers Museum in Alton on Saturday. The Meeting of the Rivers Foundation hosted the second annual Great Rivers Festival. Live music kept the crowd into it as a row of food and merchandise vendors catered to participants. Inside the museum were interactive activities and displays. Live animal shows featured Serengeti Steve, owls and other birds of prey. For information, call (618) 462-6979 or visit www.meetingoftherivers.org.
