EDWARDSVILLE — Police found a missing man Monday morning at a Southern Illinois hotel.
According to a press release from the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, David A. McAdams, 69, was located at about 11 a.m. at the hotel. His disappearance was voluntary, police said.
Police began searching for McAdams after his wife told a sheriff’s deputy she last saw her husband Thursday morning, Dec. 4. She later spoke with McAdams by phone at about 9:30 a.m. and he told her he was responding to a doctor’s office in Edwardsville. Records indicate McAdams left the doctor’s office at about 10 a.m.
Sheriff’s investigators discovered McAdams made a transaction at 11:43 a.m. at Community First Bank in Fairview Heights. Bank surveillance showed McAdams was alone at the time of the transaction.
