ST. LOUIS — The co-author of a book about the history of the Fruehauf Trailer Co. will sign copies of the book Saturday, Dec. 13, at the St. Louis Museum of Transportation.
Ruth Fruehauf and Darlene Norman are the authors of “Singing Wheels, August Fruehauf & The History of the Fruehauf Trailer Company.” Fruehauf is the daughter of Roy and Ruth Fruehauf and the granddaughter of August Fruehauf, founder of the Fruehauf Trailer Co. and inventor of the semi-trailer.
Fruehauf will be at the museum, 3015 Barrett Station Road in South St. Louis County, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
