ALTON — The Eva A. McDonald Women’s History Coalition Annual Brunch is set for Saturday, March 5, at the Atrium Hotel, 3800 Homer Adams Parkway.
Coffee will be served starting at 8:30 a.m. with brunch and program from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
For the program, Joanne Lenhardt will portray settler Ann Gillham, who lived in Madison County circa 1800. Mayor Brant Walker will present a proclamation in honor of Women’s History Month; and Gay Bryant and Debra J. Pitts will receive Women Who Make a Difference awards.
Gigi Darr will provide brunch music and gospel singer Olivia Neal will provide entertainment.
Tickets cost $13.50; call (618) 465-1978 for reservations. The deadline to purchase tickets is Feb. 29.
The event’s theme is “working to form a more perfect union honoring women in public service and government.”
