Toddle Towne Learning Center named January 2015 Small Business of the Month
Congratulations to the team of Toddle Towne Learning Center on being selected as the January Small Business of the Month. Toddle Towne Learning Center has three locations in the Riverbend community — Alton, East Alton and Granite City — and has been providing child care and educational care for more than 45 years. They care for children from 6-week-old infants to 12 years in age. They offer before- and after-school care, as well as provide a summer program that includes organized field trips to the zoo, museums, swimming pools … everywhere you would take your children if you were at home with them. RBGA 2015 Annual Dinner
The Annual Dinner networking event is geared toward informing the membership about the RBGA’s business growth initiatives for the new year and to spotlight RBGA individuals and businesses making a difference in the community. The success of this event lies within the RBGA’s membership. Four hundred RBGA members and guests enjoyed a fabulous dinner provided by Lewis and Clark Community College and beverages provided by Tony’s Restaurant and Grafton Winery & Brewhaus.
The Ambassador of the Year is an annual award that is presented to one of the 30 members of the Ambassador Committee. Each Ambassador earns points throughout the year for their volunteer efforts at our functions such as attending ribbon-cuttings and groundbreakings, working at our networking events and recruitment and retention of members. Four RBGA Chairman Awards were presented at the Annual Dinner to Raging Rivers Water Park, Tom Long, Vern Van Hoy and Mulberry Partners. 2014 Chairman of the Board John Keller of Carrollton Bank passed the gavel to Karen Cooper of Illinois American Water as our 2015 Chairman of the Board.

AT&T celebrates grand opening
Congratulations to Melissa Cannon, store manager of AT&T, located at 1725 Homer Adams Parkway in Alton. Melissa and her team opened this site in early December 2014 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and showcased the AT&T store and their information stations during the ceremony. Attendees were encouraged to visit the stations and were entered into drawings for approximately $4,000 worth of product giveaways.
