Business After Hours networking event
Lewis and Clark Community College and Tony’s Restaurant hosted the October Business After Hours networking event at Lewis and Clark Community College’s Bethalto Education Center. More than 70 people were educated on the various training programs offered by LCCC and enjoyed delicious beverages from Tony’s.
The LCCC Bethalto Education Center is located at 1136 E. Airline Drive in East Alton on the grounds of the St. Louis Regional Airport. The center hosts a variety of training, including contractor safety orientation, PowerSafe orientation, fire crew ice and water rescue, traffic safety, forklift/power truck, rope rescue operations, food service sanitation review and more.
Tony’s Restaurant has been in business for 60 years. They still have their World Famous Pepperloin Steak on the menu, which includes seafood, pasta and more. Their Prohibition Lounge seats 75 and has a sidewalk café. Tony’s Restaurant is located at 312 Piasa St. in downtown Alton.

Congratulations to Bowl Haven Lanes owner, Kathy Saffo, and her staff on the renovations to Spectators Bar and Grill, located inside the bowling alley at 3003 Washington Ave. in Alton. It is completely updated with a new bar, seating area with leather couches and fireplace, new tabletops, chairs and flooring, a private gaming room and a new menu.
