ALTON — Be Well Now welcomes new registered yoga teachers, Kelly Masinelli and Di Rulo, as new yoga studio managers beginning Tuesday, Dec. 1.
Masinelli and Rulo recently graduated together from the West-East Natural Healing School of Yoga Teachers Training program. In the next few months, they will offer yoga classes, assist other teachers in promoting yoga, update the lineup to include workshops and coordinate with West-East Natural Healing to host the fifth consecutive session of 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Be Well Now.
Masinelli and Rulo say they are excited to breathe new life into the yoga studio at Be Well Now. Rulo teaches two classes at the location: 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday is a Yin Slow Flow-style class, and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday is an all-levels, higher-energy Hatha class. In the near future, Masinelli will be adding new classes, such as 45-minute lunchtime sessions, and also hosting workshops for beginners and experienced yogis alike. The December and January workshops include Yoga for Stress Reduction by Jaime Sanchez of West-East Natural Healing in St. Louis and the third annual Qi Infused Yoga workshop by Brenda Schnable from Cary, N.C. Be Well Now also offers other yoga classes, as well as tai chi and capoeira.
