HARTFORD — The Memorial Day holiday will mark the start of summer hours at the Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower.
Beginning Monday, May 30, the tower will be open seven days a week.
The Tower, 435 Confluence Tower Drive, will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
“The summer season officially begins for us on Memorial Day,” Hartford Project Manager Deanna Barnes said. “We have great views from the tower throughout the summer season and some exciting events planned for our visitors. Visitors can check out our events at the Confluence Tower website.”
Guided daily tours are available throughout the day at the tower. Admission to the tower is $4 for adults, $3 for adults 62 and older, active military and veterans, $2 for children 12 and younger and children two and younger are free. Group rates are available for 12 or more people and reservations can be made by calling the Alton Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau at (618) 465-6676.
