GRANITE CITY — In an ongoing effort to support the community, GCS Credit Union employees had the option to wear jeans on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month in exchange for a donation.

The nonprofit animal shelter serves the Belleville community. Because the organization receives no city, county or federal assistance, it relies solely on donations from individuals, companies and organizations in Belleville and the surrounding areas.
