ALTON – An Alton man and woman are being charged with two felonies after one of the suspects allegedly fired a gun toward an occupied vehicle on March 23.
Johnathan A. Gibson, 18, of the 1000 block of Brown Street, was charged Friday, March 28, by the State’s Attorney’s Office with aggravated discharge of a firearm.
Gibson was in Alton when he allegedly fired a revolver toward a person in the vehicle, but no injuries were reported.
He is in custody with bond set at $150,000.
The woman, Kristille R. Foster, 24, of the 700 block of Oakwood Avenue, was charged the same day as Gibson by the State’s Attorney’s Office with obstructing justice.
Foster is being charged for providing false information to a police detective in allegedly saying she was not present during the shooting and her vehicle was not used when the shooting occurred.
She is also in custody with a bond set at $15,000.
No court dates have been set.
