Armstead, Day, Fulks and Johnson
GRANITE CITY — Four men were charged Wednesday in a fight where a gun was fired in a local park.
In a press release, the Granite City Police Department said it’s investigating the incident that occurred at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday at Stearns Park, on Johnson Road at Amos Avenue.
During the investigation, the Granite City Police Department was able to identify and arrest four suspects who were involved in this incident.
The Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office charged the following suspects:
Brenden L. Day, 18, of the 2800 block of Progress, Caseyville, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of weapon, reckless discharge of a firearm and mob action, all Class 4 felonies. The bail for Day was set at $75,000.
Daniel R. Armstead, 20, of the 70 block of Idlebrook, Collinsville, was charged with mob action, a Class 4 felony. The bail for Armstead was set at $25,000.
Rachiim J. Johnson, 20, of the 200 Block of West Main Street, Glen Carbon, was charged with mob action, a Class 4 felony. The bail for Johnson was set at $25,000.
Robert D. Fulks, 20, of the 2600 block of Grand, Granite City, was charged with mob action, a Class 4 felony. The bail for Fulks was set at $25,000.
The suspects remain in custody at the Granite City Police Department and will be transported to the Madison County Jail later Wednesday.
