SOUTH ROXANA — Police have obtained charges against three women in unrelated incidents involving drug possession, trespassing and burglary.
According to a press release from Police Chief Bob Coles, the following suspects were charged:
• Christina M. Stoner, 29, was charged June 30 with criminal trespass to property. Police say Stoner kicked in the door of a residence in the 100 block of Smith Street at 1:17 a.m. May 8 and remained in the house, knowing it to be occupied. The residents, who were asleep at the time, did not know Stoner or give her permission to enter the residence.
Stoner’s bond is set at $15,000. She is not in custody.
• Amy Deter was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance after a May 8 traffic stop conducted by South Roxana police. Deter was found to be in possession of methamphetamine during the traffic stop. She was arrested and released, pending lab results. Her bond is set at $15,000.
• Lisa Boyer was charged with residential burglary after an April 27 incident in the 1400 block of Gonterman. Boyer accompanied her boyfriend, who was hired to lay asphalt on an older resident’s driveway. While the boyfriend worked on the driveway, Boyer illegally entered the residence with the intent to commit a theft, police said. The victim found Boyer hiding inside her house.
Boyer fled from the residence when the victim called the police. The victim reported jewelry stolen from her bedroom. A search of the area was unable to locate Boyer. A subsequent investigation led to the charges of residential burglary, with bond set at $100,000.
