ALTON – The Alton Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau will provide free courtesy shuttle transportation to the Saturday, Sept. 6, Kenny Rogers concert at Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater.
Shuttles will pick up concert-goers at three Alton area parking lots and transport them to the amphitheater. Those lots include the Alton city lot on the corner of Fifth Street and U.S. 67; the Alton city lot on William Street (one block north of Illinois 100); and Alton Square Mall next to Amarillo Tex’s Steakhouse. Shuttles will begin their routes at 6:30 p.m. and run until 8 p.m. when the concert begins. The shuttles will be available for an hour after the concert.
“Providing the shuttle service is another way we can give visitors to Alton a seamless guest experience,” said Brett Stawar, President/CEO of the CVB. “The CVB is pleased to be able to provide this free service.”
This is the first time the CVB has offered free shuttle transportation for concerts at the amphitheater.
