ALTON — The Madison County Association for Home & Community Education annual craft and heritage skills Winter Warmup will be 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Senior Services Plus, 2603 N. Rodgers.
This event is filled with learning opportunities. The cost is $10 plus individual class supply fees. The cost includes a box lunch, coffee, tea or water. Some of the classes include easy ballet tutus, design a mug, iris paper folding, string and nail art, zipper flower brooch, chalk drawing and fine art acrylic seascape painting, shuttle tatting, pansy floral mesh wreath and more.

Also, there will be a Cultural Enrichment Contest for Home and Community Education members in various categories. The items receiving the most votes will be sent to the Illinois Home and Community Education Conference in March.
