Macaroni Kid, a free weekly e-newsletter and website for families, has arrived in the Metro East.
The website highlights activities for children and families. Breann Bailey is leading the Granite City Macaroni Kid effort.
“As a mom with four boys attending the Collinsville School District, I know how difficult it has been to keep track of the fun and enriching events and activities available for kids,” Bailey said. “I’m excited to bring Macaroni Kid to our community and look forward to the opportunity to support the many cultural, not-for-profit, school and just plain fun things there are to do in the Metro East area.”
Macaroni Kid covers the spectrum of activities, with kids’ classes, shows, events as well as things to do at home, cooking projects, book reviews, arts and crafts and more. Parents can sign up to receive their weekly newsletter here. In addition to events in these three cities, the site will offer reviews about events and activities in St. Louis, as well as ideas for family road trips and travel. Ideas for articles and event listings can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
