ALTON — The Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, the Sts. Peter and Paul Altar Society and the Alton Knights of Columbus will join forces for a human trafficking program at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at the Alton Knights of Columbus Hall, 405 E. Fourth St.
Pope Francis and bishops have asked Catholic religious leaders to address the human trafficking issue. Amanda Mohl of the St. Louis Rescue and Restore Coalition will conduct the program and share information concerning this growing problem in the area.
The community is invited to attend.
