A two-vehicle crash on Illinois 267 in Greene County Tuesday afternoon killed an unidentified man.
According to an Illinois State Police District 18 press release, at 5:03 p.m. Tuesday a 2004 Ford passenger car was traveling south on Illinois 267 at Palmyra Road when it crossed the center line and collided with a northbound 2014 Hyundai passenger car. The driver of the Ford was airlifted by Life Flight to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield and the Hyundai driver was transported by Greene County Ambulance to Boyd Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, where he died from his injuries.
The Illinois State Police Crash Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash.
Police did not provide any other information on the crash victims or whether any charges were issued in relation to the crash.
