The National Weather Service is predicting more severe weather for the region through Thursday night.
The storms are capable of producing tornadoes, large hail, heavy rainfall and damaging winds.
A flash flood watch remains in effect through late Thursday night. The area has received 2-3 inches of rain since Wednesday and is expected to pick up an additional 2-3 inches through Thursday night.
Officials advise not to drive vehicles into areas where water covers the road and to quickly abandon vehicles caught in rising water.
A flash flood watch means flash flooding is possible but not imminent in the watch area. People in the watch area should be aware of the possibility of heavy rainfall and flash flooding.
