Residents will get a brief reprieve today from the cold as temperatures climb into the mid-40s, but 1 to 3 inches of snow is predicted tonight and Friday.
According to the National Weather Service, today's high will reach 45. After midnight there will be a 30 percent chance of snow with temperatures falling into the upper 20s.
Friday's forecast calls for a 70 percent chance of snow with a high of 29.
Forecasters say Saturday will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 34; Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 36.
