ALTON — Madison County Health Department nurses will talk about hepatitis C from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 20, in Multipurpose Room 2 at Senior Services Plus, 2603 N. Rodgers Ave.
The 30- to 45-minute presentation will focus on the dangers of Hepatitis C and the high rate found among the baby boomer generation. Nurses will perform blood draws for anyone interested in being tested for Hepatitis C. The cost is $19 per person for the blood drawing only. The presentation is free.
