ROXANA - The Village Board decided to replace two pumps at one of their street lift stations Monday night.
The board approved getting new pumps at their McCurdy Street lift station in an amount not to exceed $14,000. The money will come from the village's wastewater fund, which is currently at $98,174.
Village officials said the pumps take six to eight weeks to get after they are ordered.
Pumps in a street lift station help keep the village's stormwater or sewage running properly.
Village officials say the village manages four to five lift stations.
