GODFREY — Evangelical Schools will host its first Eagle Fest from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12,at the Sportsmen’s Club, 3109 Godfrey Road.
This is the first year Evangelical Schools have hosted such an event and the faculty and families are excited. The event will serve as the primary yearly fund-raiser for the school.
“Make sure to mark your calendars, as you will not want to miss out on this new event,” Eagle Fest Chair Amber Hampshire said.
The event will include carnival games where prizes can be won and plenty of rides, including the Euro Bungee, a rock-climbing wall, a wipeout arm and a train. Wristbands and tickets will be available for purchase for the rides and games. There also will be plenty of food and drinks available for purchase.
Live music will begin at 2 p.m. The first band will play from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. and the second band will take the stage at 7 p.m. A fireworks display will conclude the evening.
