HARTFORD — The Labor Day Holiday will mark the end of summer hours at the Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower. Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8, the tower will be open five days per week.
The tower, 435 Confluence Tower Drive, will be open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
“The summer season officially ends for us on Labor Day,” Hartford Project Manager Deanna Barnes said. “We still have great views from the tower throughout the fall season and some exciting events planned for people who want to celebrate our beautiful fall foliage. Visitors can check out our events at the Confluence Tower website.”
Guided daily tours are available throughout the day. Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for children 12 and younger and children 2 and younger are free. Group rates are available for 12 or more people and reservations can be made by calling the Alton Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau at (618) 465-6676.
