HARTFORD — The Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower will return to its fall operating schedule Tuesday, Sept. 6, and will be open five days per week.
The tower will be open Monday, Sept. 5, for Labor Day but will be closed Tuesday, Sept. 6. It will re-open Wednesday, Sept. 7, for its regular fall hours. The tower, 435 Confluence Tower Drive, will be open9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
“Fall is one of the best times to visit the Confluence Tower,” Hartford Project Manager Deanna Barnes said. “We have great views from the tower throughout the fall season and some exciting events planned for people who want to celebrate our beautiful fall foliage. Visitors can check out our events at the Confluence Tower website.”
Guided daily tours are available throughout the day. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for adults 62 and older, active military and military veterans, $4 for children 12 and younger and children 2 and younger are free. Group rates are available for 12 or more people and reservations can be made by calling the Alton Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau at (618) 465-6676.
