ALTON — An architect who specializes in waterfront projects will speak in Alton Thursday.
The City with a View group will play host to a presentation by Randy Johnston at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at Jacoby Arts Center, 627 E. Broadway. Johnston is president of Lighthouse Architects and his team has worked on projects that include Big Cedar Lodge, the St. Louis Arch expansion, Paducah Riverfront Development, Knoxville South Waterfront and Benton Harbor Economic Strategic Plan.
The City with a View is a coalition of citizens and stakeholders who advocate for a smart, sustainable model for the development of Alton and its riverfront, according to a press release.
The Placemaking Alton event is open to the public.
