ALTON — OSF Saint Anthony’s Health Center will hold a Girls’ Day Out event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30.
Girls’ Day Out offers women the opportunity to obtain annual mammograms, learn more about breast health issues from OSF Saint Anthony’s team of clinicians and enjoy a day of pampering with friends. Featuring complimentary brunch with bagels and fresh fruit, the event offers a stretching demonstration by physical therapist Susan Young, instructor for OSF Saint Anthony’s Fit & Flexible program; chair massages by Michelle Bowers of Faccin Chiropractic and mini-manicures from 9 to 11 a.m. by Casey (Topnotch Hair Biz).
Insurance will be billed or women can take advantage of a cash-reduced price of $99; radiologist reading fee is billed separately. Women older than 40 do not need a physician’s order for their annual mammograms.
Participants will have a chance to win a gift basket and tickets to a Cardinals game.
For those without health insurance, OSF Saint Anthony’s can provide information on the Illinois Breast & Cervical Cancer Prevention Program.
Registration is limited; visit osfsaintanthonys.org and click on Classes & Events, or call for an appointment at (618) 465-2264.
