Andrew "Bud" Claussen, 82, formerly of Wood River, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Born on January 4, 1933 in Kincade Co., IL, he was the son of Oscar and Mae (Siebold) Claussen.
A Korean War army infantry veteran, he owned and operated, "Bud's Truck and Auto Repair" in Wood River before retiring in 2004.
On August 28, 1954 in Chester, he married the former Darlene Eggemeyer. She survives.
Surviving also are three brothers, Bill (Ann) Claussen of Arizona, Jim (Glenda) Claussen of Maplewood, MO, Harold (Barb) Claussen of Collinsville; two sisters, Micki Mathers of Wood River, Mary Blanford of Ste. Genevieve, MO; several special nieces and nephews.
Preceding him death were his parents; a daughter, Tina Marie Claussen; three brothers, J.F., Bob and Jerry Claussen; and two sisters, Dottie Sanders and Donna Claussen.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Woodland Hill Cemetery. Pastor Martin Schultz will officiate.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church where he had been a past member.
