Anna Mae (Clark) Riffle, 86, of Collinsville, passed away at 5:44 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at her home.
She was born Feb. 29, 1928, in Glover, Mo., a daughter of the late William S. and Gertrude (Heaston) Dunn.
She married William Kermit Riffle on June 22, 1991, in Desloge, Mo., and he passed away on July 26, 1999.
Anna retired on Feb. 24, 1991, from the Flat River Glass Factory in Park Hills, Mo., after many years of dedicated service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Desloge. She had a special love of flowers and enjoyed her days of gardening, quilting, camping and sewing. She will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.
She is survived by four daughters, Donna (Garland) Zimmerman of Collinsville, Marilyn (Cleo) Skaggs of Irondale, Mo., Linda Aldrich of Collinsville and Kimberly (Carla Terry) Pugh of Collinsville; nine grandchildren, Karla (Joe) Kennedy, Danny (Yvette) Schultz, Garland (Diane) Zimmerman Jr., Brian (Carol) Schultz, Ryan (Julie) Schultz, Timothy (Michelle) Aldrich, Heather (Jeff) Hendrickson, Jeremy (Jennifer) Aldrich and Brittany (Joe) Kuechle; 18 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; other extended family and many friends.
In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Reed; and two brothers, Arthur and Eugene Dunn.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon, from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, with the Rev. Tim Lawson officiating. Graveside services will be held at Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Glover, Mo., at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2014.
