Barbara L. Wooley, 78, of Brighton, died at 9:41 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, at Jerseyville Manor in Jerseyville.
She was born on Aug. 30, 1937, in Shawnee, the daughter to the late Bertis and Elsie (Hughes) Roe.
Barbara married Kenneth Wooley on Sept. 2, 1955 in Junction. He died Oct. 1, 2005.
She was a medical transcriptionist at St. Anthony’s Hospital for 16 years.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Debbie King of White Hall, and Sherry and Phil Meyer of Rockbridge; one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Lisa Wooley of Brighton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Don Ewell of Equality.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son-in-law, Richard King.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton.
Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton.
