Cynthia S. Linenfelser, 67, passed away at 5:05 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Eugene A. and Ruth V. (McKee) Lenau.
Cynthia had worked for Dr. Anschuetz for many years, then assisted and founded “Senior Advantage” in Alton before serving as medical office manager for Family Medicine in Collinsville.
She enjoyed playing softball and golf.
On Nov. 1, 1975, in Alton, she married Robert Linenfelser Sr. He died May 30, 2006.
Surviving are two daughters, Tammy (Shannon) Lambert of Franklin, Tenn., Dina (Dino) Taylor of Rosewood Heights; four grandchildren, Danielle Church, Radeana Taylor, Lauren Lambert and Samuel Lambert; three great-grandchildren, Kayden Flowers, Tragen and Amya Cooper; brother, Gary (Phyllis) Lenau of Missouri; and two sisters, Marilyn (Jim) Holmes of Wentzville, Mo., and Sandy (Steve) Shaw of Missouri.
Her parents and a son, Robert Linenfelser Jr., preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday. Pastor Michael Southcombe will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
