David M. Sadich, 68, of Wood River, passed away at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at his daughter’s residence.
He was born on Dec. 14, 1946, in Alton, the son of the late Nicholas and Catherine “Katie” (De Vasher) Sadich. Survivors include one daughter, Ginny Sadich; and her boyfriend, John Fee, of Wood River; one grandson, Andrew Harrison of Wood River; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Jeannie Biddlecome of East Alton, Nicki and Craig Fulton of Placerville, Calif., Kim Sadich of East Alton, Karen and John Schulte of O’Fallon, Mo.; one brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Jeanette of Missouri; and a special friend, Delma “Dee” Rodgers of Alton.
David loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved music. David was a veteran of the United States Army.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
Memorials are suggested to the family for his grandson’s education.
