Debbie Murphy-Robinson, 63, of Nutwood, passed away at 1:47 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, at her residence.
She was born on Aug. 6, 1952, in Wood River, the daughter of the late William Thomas and Mary Virginia (Cunningham) Murphy Sr.
She married Steven Patrick “Pat” Robinson on June 28, 1986, in Fieldon, and he survives. Other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Tara and James Smith of Summerville, S.C.; two grandchildren, Sierra Smith and Dylan Smith, both of Summerville, S.C.; one sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Richard Dannenbrink of Holiday Shores; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Cyndi Murphy of Rosewood Heights and Steven and Janice Murphy of Florida; two stepsons and their families; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Debbie was formerly employed at Great American Truck Lines as a dispatcher. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, William Thomas “Tommy” Murphy Jr.
In celebration of her life, memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of reflection at noon Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
