Deborah Kay Anderson, 59 of Rolla, Mo., formerly of Granite City, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at her home.
Deborah was born on Jan. 2, 1956, in Granite City, a daughter to the late Roy William and Mary Corrine (Stockman) Anderson. Deborah was a longtime bank manager for Roosevelt Bank in Granite City. Deborah loved her family and put their needs above her own. She will be remembered for her kind heart and all the special times she shared with her family and friends.
She is survived by and will be missed by her daughter; Julie and (Mark) Waldron of Rolla, Mo.; grandchildren, Paige Hensley, Alesia Hensley and Alexa Waldron; great-grandchildren, Ayden Campbell and Owen Clark; brothers, Larry Anderson, Gary and (Valerie) Anderson and Randy Anderson.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her brother, Gregory Anderson.
In celebration of her life, friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015, with a service at 7 p.m. at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
