Deborah Kay McHugh, 57, of Cottage Hills, died at 7:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at her home.
She was born Feb. 11, 1958, in Alton, the daughter of Fred Edwards and Lora Lampkin.
Deborah married William “Pat” McHugh on July 26, 2006 in Hannibal, Mo. He survives.
She liked painting pictures, ceramics and most of all loved her cats.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Lora Boulch of Cottage Hills; one son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Lisa Edwards of Rockford; a daughter and son-in-law, Tera Brown (B.J. Gleason) of Wood River; four grandchildren, Cheyenne Brown, and Traci, Tiffany and Wyatt Gleason; one brother, Richard Yoakum of Medora; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Carol Ann and Robbie Calvert of Wood River; Joan Cato of Cottage Hills and a nephew, Travis Calvert.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, with Pastor Dan Penrod officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the First Southern Baptist Church of Forest Homes.
