Deloris E. (McNelly) Hartman, 86, of Godfrey, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born July 19, 1928, in Alton, the daughter of Plinnie and Alma (Pruitt) McNelly.
She married Robert Hartman on June 6, 1974, in Bethalto. He survives.
Deloris was a longtime member of the Wood River Moose Lodge. She was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her husband, Robert; she is survived by two children, Gwen Vollintine of East Alton, and Neil (Beverly) Darr of Kane; four stepchildren, Victoria Fischer of Washington, Penn., Lenard Hartman of Bethalto, Romona (Paul) Smith of East Alton, and Robert Hartman Jr. of Grafton; a sister, Nina (Richard) Draper of Alton; a brother, Gary (Mary) McNelly of Fairview Heights; a grandson, Brett (Shelly) Darr of Bethalto; one great-grandchild, Destiny Tungett of Bethalto; eight step-grandchildren, Tonya, John, Rebecca, Michel, Shawn, Matthew, Jacob and Brandon; four step-great-grandchildren; a special sister-in-law, Ruth McNelly of Godfrey; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; nine brothers and sisters, Leo, Raymond, George, Eileen, Edward, Juanita, Guy, Ethel Idel and Betty.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mooseheart.
